I tend to slap as a strictly defensive reaction, to let my offender know that I do not approve of what they are doing without running the risk of hurting them. It's an act of courtesy!
... I've done this twice but it seems it failed to get my point across: the first time I got a broken nose, and the second time I ended up with two black eyes. It taught me the lesson that if you are going to hit, then hit first, and hit hard. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
