I don't see why you need the type of specifics that you do. You have the basic idea of what you want to look like so just improvise the rest. An outline should be good enough, you shouldn't need a blueprint.

Beyond that it isn't very difficult at all. I just use basic adjustable hair clippers and a razor. You get the main hair to the length you want with the clippers and shave off everything else with the razor. You aren't performing brain surgery or diffusing a bomb, you're styling hair. You may make a couple of mistakes, but after that you should have it down pretty easily.
