Omagnus promptly gets some friends in his own country. He's a real little boy now! That aside, being as I'm three quarters through the first one at the moment (Playing co-op with another Brit as it happens) I'm rather excited about this. I can't see it ever being something I'd play much vs on but if the co-op is as fun as the first, I'm sold. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() ![]() |
The Horde mode sounds like Defend mode in the Ghost Recon games which can only be a good thing. Especially as the AI in the first Gears wasn't stupid enough to just keep running round a corner into a hail of bullets like the GR bad guys tend to. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() ![]() |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() ![]() |
Hi Tube.
I see they've still not learned to use a radio and run at the same time but otherwise, it looks pretty awesome. Nice videos. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() ![]() |
I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() ![]() |
I've only ever actually played through the game once and never played it online (I only bought it a couple of months ago as a mate was bugging me to play it with him) but I didn't think Hardcore was overly difficult once you got the hang of it. My main problem was that as far as shooters go I've predominantly been playing Rainbow all year so I have a habit of shooting someone in the head then moving to the next target which obviously doesn't work in Gears with most of the weapons. There were a couple of spots where we had to reload a few times (Mainly the defending the mansion bit near the end and the mine carts in the powerstation but that's only because my mate for some reason can't hit Lambent Wretches and kept getting killed, in the end I kicked him out of the game and did it on my own then let him back in again). I do plan on playing through on insane at some point though, I'll be interested to see how much harder it is.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() ![]() |
Guy is in prison, guy leaves prison, bugs attack earth, guy kills bugs, guy meets other guys, guys collectively kill bugs, guys cross city at night despite the presence of insta-death bats in the shadowy areas and nobody having thought to bring a flashlight, guys visit a powerstation, brief detour for no discernable reason to guy's house, bugs are found living in big cave, guys try to set off a mapping bomb thing in cave, guys manage it, bugs attack train, guys kill bugs on train, the end with ominous shots of more bugs.
Shakespeare it ain't but that's pretty much the gist of it. I might have got some things in the wrong order though as I only played through it once. Most amazing jew boots ![]() ![]() |
