Beefi can stand up as a minor though.

Now that Beefi's a mind-zombie, do I roll to save for that or do you and when and do I get a go if I save and what's occuring basically?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

So if you move away from a dominated ally, you provoke an AoO right? And did my ally-enhanced recovery before count as my second wind for this fight? And have we even bloodied the dragon yet? And if not, who's up for doing a runner, getting it to chase us then pushing those cauldrons over to drown it in bubbling goo and slamming the magic door shut on it to electrecute it or something else similarly thinking outside the box like, seeing as how we're all still about to die and have now used most of our dailies?

Where's a nice, big pit full of spikes when you need one eh?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

5 ongoing damage isn't going to win this fight and the chances of Beefi hitting the dragon with turn undead make it a seriously less useful option than just repeatedly hitting it with the mace. Seeing as how I'd only hit on a natural 20 and seeing as how that'd do waaaaay more damage if it was a melee attack, I think I'll stick to comedy wrestling moves for the time being.

I'm sure we'll win a battle of attrition eventually, it's just more fun using the scenery to kill things quickly.

Have I been working out my damage rolls right? It occurs to me that the mace does +3 to hit and damage doesn't it whereas Beefi's axe wasn't magic but I've been using the same strength modifier as on my character sheet powers, just substituting D12's for D8's. By my reckoning I've made 7 damage rolls so far this fight so that's an extra 21hp damage to the dragon (Maybe). In other words, can someone clarify for me what the basic hit and damage roll modifiers are when Beefi's swinging the mace rather than his axe please?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

66 damage to the dracolich. I might have actually killed it in six(ish) swings!

Additional Spam:
I like how slave is a viable career exit from burgher in WFR.

The dragon is indeed a bit of a bitch. I love how this dungeon is basically pussy fight, traps traps traps traps traps, pussy fight, NOW YOU DEAD SUCKAS. I suspect that if we avoid a team KO here it'll be more luck than judgement, although if we beat the whole dungeon with as comically an unbalanced party as we had there's got to be some kudos earned. Deni, do you get good bonuses for sneak attacks because we might as well use the hide in plain sight card while we're here.

Roll on WFR where we can get brutally murdered by common footpads with no need for big dragons or anything. A burgher is just a slightly-not-as-scummy peasant, right? Do I get a rapier and fencing skill with that?

I was speaking idiomatically.

Pretty much, yeah. It works both ways though, with the dice on your side you can butcher your way through literally legions of soft bad guys. There's none of this fancy skills malarky though, you just chop away at the monsters until they explode into chunks. Any game system where becoming a proper wizard (Rather than just an apprentice) requires years of in-game study and there's a chance you can go permanently insane each time you cast one of the really hardcore spells can only suit the GFF style of play well. As a charcoal burner, if you're lucky your possessions will include some clothes and an axe (That you're not trained to use in combat) and even then your actual stats are completely randomly generated. If Pang's WFR campaign goes anything like the ones we used to play at school, the backup players list is going to get recycled a hell of a lot more often.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Awesome.

Do we get to flesh out our own backgrounds? Nationality and shit like that? I think I'll go for a Kislevite if so. If you're going to be a peasant you might as well be a Russian one.

With our dice roller that'd be a D100 rather than 2D10.

It's quite interesting reading through my first edition rulebook to see how much all the background fluff changed and was codified when they released the army books for the second edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battle. Say what you want about Games Workshop but the effort that's gone into refining their two game universes over the years is fucking impressive.

How much more killing is the dragon thing going to take? He can't have many hp left now surely. I suppose I might as well use the card seeing as how we're jogging on DnD shortly though. Assuming we win this fight and there's another big fight at the end, Cette and I both had exactly the same idea for a truly epic end to the adventure.

It's a bit late now and we were expecting a massive horde of zombies. Ah well, this fight has been pretty epic as it is.

How ya doing, buddy?
