Bob really needs some more at-will spells. Casting Ray or Frost all the time is becoming rather cliche. I suppose he could always shoot arrows more but he is a mage...

The wand's thunderwave is a daily power though and Bob still gets bonuses to attack and damage with it (Although I just noticed he gets that with the staff too, doh). Cloud of daggers would be more useful if the rest of the party were open to more running away tactics perhaps but as it is, I think I'll swap it for Scorching Burst. How big an area does that cover when you cast it? Is it a 3x3 square or a 3 wide cross? Tempting though Magic Missile is, given the thread title, I think an area spell would be more useful in the long run, assuming Bob has a long run...

Ah, I see, that makes more sense now. I didn't realise there was such a distinction between the types of spells, I had ssumed you just picked a bunch of spells and some happened to be rituals, some dailys and so on. Let's hope we find a shop soon eh!

Ah, therein lies the difference between accountants and bookkeepers. A bookkeeper would indeed get fussy about the details and record every slight movement on the sheet. An accountant however takes an average of most of the figures and makes up the specifics to suit their needs. That's why accountants are so much better paid than bookkeepers, you've got to be good at making shit up and tweaking the facts to match your idea of how things should look.

I bet if we asked the Kobold blacksmith nicely he could make a bigger one. Then we could name that after a shitty band too, something like PANZERSTEIN UMLAUT. It would be the size of a horse and shaped like a dragon having a shit so you hit people with a massive dragon's cloaca, thereby humiliating them as well as injuring them and justifying you in shouting "Hey bad guy, eat ass" everytime you swung it.

That's why I find reading rule books and shit so pointless, you can always come up with something better yourself.
