You'd need to be a little more specific about some things first. What kind of motherboard are you using? Is the invisible SATA drive attached to an onboard SATA controller chip that isn't part of the chipset itself?
Check to see if your BIOS is set to auto-detect drives. Is the drive usable and does it display the full capacity (about 232GB formatted, in your case i'd imagine)? If you're not sure what your drive is, it MAY be possible to use a diagnostic utility such as this one (http://www.utilitygeek.com/details.php?fileid=28) to find out the model number of your SATA drive, then do an internet search and find the relevant manual/utilities for it. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
