I really can't see how this game validates a "full, packaged retail release" as they put it. The game is pretty simple, and I really don't understand how a few bells and whistles justifies a probable $20 price tag when the original game was out almost 2 years ago for $5 (it was also available on Steam for $2.50). Also, the idea of needing to "link up" both versions to have access to all the content in each of the games seems a bit of a stretch.
Still, a Geometry Wars on the go would be pretty cool. I might pick it up if it ever drops to a budget price of around $10. Will the DS version have online multiplayer? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
