I don't think you can immediately say it's sleep apnea. This is something that is serious because it's cutting into your quality of life. It appears you don't know or even have a vague notion of what exactly is causing it. When you get your next check-up include a thorough physical and bloodwork done. For things you can do right now, I would say to keep yourself mentally strong as you are doing right now. Also, eat the right kind of foods, exercise moderately, and get plenty of sleep. If you try these things, it may go away on its own.
