Hey skedar, haven't seem your stuff for a while. For the human drawings at least, are you using reference for it? And particularly, the girl drawing, are you planning on finishing it? I think the first 3 drawing can use some shading, even if they are concept arts.

What Proportion? It isn't an issue of proportion in my opinion, even though that's super hero proportion. >.> So you are not using any reference for it?

Hmm, I don't remember your other coloring stuff. So I don't really have a point of reference.

The musculature looks really nice. Although for some reason the shading for muscles on the one side just stopped. It feel like the shading doesn't have enough variation, at least as far as I can see, the shading on the skin (of the vampire dude) doesn't feel dark enough, but you had spent 20 hours on this, which shown by the clean edges and the really nice chrome effect you have on the metal parts of his costume.

On the highlight, I think, at least on the parts of leather looking belt thingy, you should have choose the color and slowly gradate it until a tinted highlight, instead of the pale white you have now. Hmm, you really need to post more. We don't get a whole lot of traffic around here now-a-days.

Tone but not hues? Does that mean you painted monochrome? Well, I know this guy who did a very good tutorial on basic coloring, I thought it might be worth your while to take a read.

http://itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm

Also, if you are digital painting with a tablet, I am recommanding you use a method called light on dark (I think that's what is called?) to color the character, as in, start with the darker shading, sorta between the very highlight and dark shadows, and then paint increment of different shades all over. Hmm, what's a good example of this?

For some reason the clothing doesn't seem as if it is conforming to the shape of the body so much, as in this case it looks like the other way around. So the figure looks a bit unbalanced because it looks like he has really tiny hips and small lower bodies. Granted that it doesn't look finished. I do like the shading a lot though.

I like how the creep look. This looks like a perfect chance to practice some shading though.

The perspective between the box shape(?) that is in the background and man. He is also seem to be conform to two different angles. The type of stacking on the arms towards the viewer is very very difficult. It'll probably take some practice for one to actually get good at it. The key is to imaging the approximation of the human body as a stack of simple shaped boxes. Dynamic angles can be very challenging, but it could be very fun too.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Whoe, very awesome. I am not familiar with Maya, hmm. The walk sequence need a lot of work, but I guess you don't need me to tell you that. Although I think the throw pose in the long thrown doesn't quite fit to the trajectory. You might want to look into it a bit.

I actually like your rock n roll guy a lot. There doesn't seem to be any problem with how he is standing compare to the current guy. Did you work on the detail as you go along? Its probably best to work out the whole character and how he should stand before coming back to detail. Although You'll probably need a pretty good steader for that.
