I really have no clue about the Growlanser series (thread title is wrong, also) but I just ordered this.

There's no way in hell I'm passing up the opportunity of that limited edition. It feels like Working Designs all over again.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I knew I saw this art of Growlanser before. It's done by Satoshi Urushihara, and he's a famous ero artist.

Quote:
Atlus, U.S.A., Inc. today officially announced a Limited Edition release of Growlanser: Heritage of War, the latest entry in the critically-acclaimed Growlanser series. The title will only receive a single print run - when the initial allocation has sold out, the game will no longer be available for purchase.
Are they printing copies of the game only? I ordered the LE, but I don't think they'll restrict themselves to it at all. And there's only apparently a small, single, first print run of the LE being made.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

This game got questionable reviews everywhere, so yeah.
"Everywhere"?

I haven't played the game but it arrived today. The box set is nice. It opens from the top, and the key chain has it's own little box in foam casing. Removing that reveals the pins on the left and it comes with two holographic cards sitting on top of the art book. The media CD isn't anything special, just the OVA and a few random bits and pieces. I was expecting an interview with the developers but I guess not.

The art book is probably the best thing about the box set, considering it's 1) released in America and 2) doesn't totally suck balls. Outstanding.

As for the game, no idea. Still sealed.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

This game sucks, don't bother. Buy soul nomad instead^^
Or don't, because Soul Nomad is pretty bad in itself. But, this game is worse, though. I mean, this game doesn't even keep track of your TIME. Urushihara's art is good, but uh, the game isn't. I'd just go back to your missed PS2 RPGs if you're really wanting to play something.

Not sure if I regret purchasing this item or not, but who cares. It's bound to become rare with all the crap that comes with it. Right?

I was speaking idiomatically.
