I get razor bumps. I swore it was acne up until I realized the bumps only appeared after I shaved and were practically gone when I let my facial hair grow out. Now if I had a full beard I'd let my facial hair grow out, but I don't; I have sporadic hairs growing out of various places of my face. Its increased in volume over the years, but at the age of 20, its still not consistent enough to look anything but bummy when I don't shave.
So, I looked up the problem and it basically said it's just hair growing under your skin instead of out if your skin. How to stop it? Don't shave so close. It said use a single blade razor. I found a double-blade. It shaves close enough so that it looks like you've shaved when you do but without shaving so close that the hair is no longer poking out of your face.
So while those Mach 3's are awesome and make your face feel super smooth AT FIRST, in the long run they're bad for you. I'm a black dude so my hair naturally curls, so this is especially a problem with me.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
