I feel like this thread doesn't address the larger and more important consequences of time travel, particularly traveling to the past. Causal loops, spawning parallel universes, paradoxes, and possibly coming to terms with the harsh reality of determinism. It's not all fun and games, guys. You could break the entire fucking universe.
Plus you'd have to account for the position of the planet. I don't think you want to travel back into the cold vacuum of space. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Not to mention the universe is expanding, you probably could time travel back to Earth if you wanted to.
