[hide] tags, mark II
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Moderators can always see hidden content.
Also quoting the post isn't supposed to work. The original preg_match mask doesn't work now since [hide] takes options. I'll have to tweak those. (Edit: quoting is now fixed) And now that I'm plugging into the bbcode parser as opposed to manipulating the post data after parsing, I'll have to bypass post caching. EDIT: It should be working now. [hide=500,30d] <-- this hides messages from people with below 500 postcount and 30 days registration. [hide=30d], [hide=500], [hide=30d,500] are valid combinations. For original behaviour just use [hide]. If you do something like [hide=500,600,30d,2000,12d] the highest values will take effect. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
You can always see the hidden content in your own posts.
How ya doing, buddy? |
The hide rules take precedence over activation. If you've previously activated a post and the post owner changes rules, you'll be bound by those new rules.
And rules are processed for each hide tag, so it's possible to have only part of a post activated. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
hide tags are configured to emulate quote tags when used outside of the forum (i.e. PMs and journals). Let me know if they don't work that way.
