I live in Spain, but I don't...
Ok. I tried Google for this problem, but I may not be using the right search. Anyways, I am stationed in Spain and all too often when I go to a web page, it defaults in Spanish. That is understandable since my ISP is in Spain. Well, I tried going to Hertz.com, for instance, to check out rentals back home in the States and the US isn't even a choice. The only thing I can figure out is in Firefox, to change the default language, but that doesn't work half the time. I did try IE, but that was worse.
Can anyone help, or am I screwed? BTW Hertz is just an example. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Thanks for the responses and I figured I am out of luck. Its not that important really, but its mostly a nuiscance. I will double check what I have set with Google, but I think it will still go against my IP address.
One thing that I think is funny with having a Spain IP address, is the flash ads that say I can win a green card. Fun stuff... There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It was already set to United States. I think it is an IP thing. Oh well... lol
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
