Goatees

So for the past 2 years or so, I've grown a lot of facial hair, but I've always shaved before it got too out of control, mainly because of job and attending church every week. Lately I've been kinda lazy though over the holidays, and people have been noticing and commenting on it.

I've been told it looks pretty good looking like my scruffy self in the morning.

I always thought I just looked better clean shaven (what my girlfriend told me >_>"), but I wanted to try something new for the sake of it.



So basically, I'm looking for advice as how to accomplish this:


I thought it was pretty easy, just trim here and there, but going to read about it on the net, things just seemed so much more confusing than it had to be with all the fancy tools and stuff, yargh. Also, I don't know what exactly the cut looks like under the chin and on the undersides of the jaw.
