Will internet finally take our real life?

This is like The Sims. I'd probably get addicted until I ran out of things to do in-game. I'd never starve myself to death over it, though.

Now that I've clicked the link and seen the official site, I can see how people could actually make a living playing the game. So yeah, it's a possibility it'd take over people's lives. Maybe some people that e-commute right now get really wrapped up in their jobs. I think I'd get tired of staring at the screen after a while and go do something else, though.

Oh, oh, oh, but wait -- maybe WE are some kind of "second life" being played by aliens or something. Somebody please, think of the children!
