I just heard about this (on the radio) a couple days ago. Personally, I had heard of water intoxication, but it's one of those kind of things you keep in the back of your mind and don't really think about a whole lot you know? I mean come on, poisoning yourself with water? Doesn't seem too likely. To be perfectly honest, I probably would've entered this contest, had I lived anywhere near where it took place. But you bet your ass I would've read the waiver, too.
