This is Richard Biscuit, an anthropomorphic biscuit with a heroic thickness.
In many platform games, the hero's level of protection comes in the form of different layers of armour, and Richard Biscuit is no different. He can acquire different layers of biscuit to strengthen himself. Richard Biscuit can also get different faces, like one with a textured design, or one with little windows so the layer of chocolate underneath can poke through. These have no practical advantages.
This is the first level, called Level 1, and set inside a supermarket. Richard Biscuit has to free his biscuit brethren from tight air-sealed packages, but before he can do this he needs to collect those red stringy things connected to tabs which you use for opening packets of biscuits.
This is the intense climax of the game. *SPOILERS*. Stood on the rim of his great nemesis, Mr. Tea, and holding a spoon, Richard Biscuit has to scoop his half broken biscuit buddies from the bottom of the cup before they dissolve away completely, all the while being careful not to fall in himself.
