The ten best movies you've NEVER seen.

My list is mostly movies that I have no immediate inclination to watch:

I didn't like The Godfather much when I saw it for the first time about 2 years ago.

Westerns are my least favourite genre.

Die Hard is always on the other channel.


8. 8.7 Shichinin no samurai (1954) 47,783

Well this one I'd like to see, on my Dads recommendation; he says it's awesome. He didn't phrase it like that though.


13. 8.7 Rear Window (1954) 56,335

Hitchcock films never really engage me much.


15. 8.6 12 Angry Men (1957) 42,307

Never heard of it.


18. 8.6 Cidade de Deus (2002) 52,499

I would like to see this one for some glimpse into life in a favela.


19. 8.6 Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) 84,993

Like Skexis, I tried to watch this one not long ago, but was too tired to have patience.


24. 8.6 C'era una volta il West (1968) 27,645

Still my least favourite genre.


25. 8.6 North by Northwest (1959) 47,658

This is one Hitchcock movie that looks pretty good without even having to know more about it.


Anyone who wants to give me a kick up the arse and tell me why I absolutely need to see any of these IMMEDIATELY is more than welcome. I know full well that after watching some of these films I'm going to think afterwards "why the fuck haven't I seen this sooner?!".
