Well I have two netowrok cards in my pc.
The first one is a onboard one. It clames it is working properly, but I try to connect it and nothing happens it just dose not do anything My other network card is a pci cardand up intill I put my video card back in it worked well, but now windows clames there ie a prob and it won't star up
but I have to use the usb cord for my printer and I don't like that.So what can I do to get one of them to work? Edit: the modo is a msi. I forgot to mention that :P Jam it back in, in the dark.

I am not sure. I am starting to think the thing died.It was working fine then when I put in my agp video card and restarted my pc it stopped working (giving the error msg I put it the quote when I checked the device manager. I am hopping when I reformat my pc windows will be able to use it correctly again or at least get the right drivers so that the internal NIC will work.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Well I had to replace my mobo and cpu and did not do a proper reformat after. (I needed to get some files off the drive first so I just did the repair option) Then when I put my video card back in this happened. Would trying to reformat and seeing if it helps be a good first step then trying what you recommended or should I try that first?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Iresinstall windows already (since it needed to be done anyways, but right now i think it died since when I tried to use the on board video card (after finally setting up windows and getting the right drivers for it from msi live update it was unable to connect to the internet and it give me that limited or no connection bs error msg. How ya doing, buddy? |
I'll have to try it after I get my cable modem replaced (I think the ethernet cable port died since I tried it on my onboard networking card and it found a conection and tried to get a ip. but it failed.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
