[PC] Out of the loop to long :( Pc game recommendations needed

It has been to long since I gotten a new pc game and I have no idea whats worth getting and whats not worth my time.

The pc is my choice for fps and rts games (so I would love to get some newer games of those types. I am also looking for ideas on any star wars game (like Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy witch is a game I pretty much played to death) I would like to know if there are any ace combat link game for the pc?

Also I was once heard of a star wars pc game I would like to get I just don't know the name.

I believe it was a RTS from what a remember and it was made after ST voyager ended (it had TP torpedoes and ablasive(sp) armor that was indrodused at the end of that series) I think there was also a mode to create any battle yo could have thought of in a free play mode.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The game you're thinking of is probably Empire at War. It's the only Star Wars RTS that I know of, and from what I remember it has a skirmish creation system.

If you enjoy stuff like that, you might also look into X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, as it had custom-made space battles you could play out.

For more recent games on PC, I'd recommend Rainbow Six: Vegas if you haven't played it on 360, as well as FEAR. I don't know how long exactly you've been out of the loop, but given your interest in Star Wars, you can't really go wrong with the Knights of the Old Republic games.

For RTS, Command & Conquer 3 is a good bet, and you might also look into Supreme Commander.

You might also want to mention what your computer can handle, because most recent PC games are made with graphics in mind.
