God if only the PS2 had AA. Ace combat 5 looked so jaggy it was distracting sometimes. If AC:Zero had AA.. I would weep with joy. ; ;

Also, why ditch numbers for a graph like that on the plane's capabilities? I kinda liked the numbers.. easier to compare the planes.

Also, that cover is sexy.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Sometimes I really wonder how it's possible for the Falken and X-02 to appear in all these games. The X-02 in 4 and 5 kinna make sense because the time is close.

But the two planes in 5 are all prototype planes. They're new and experimental.

How the hell could they be in AC:Zero? This just makes no sense. Did the Belkans have time travelers? What, did they steal one of Mobius 1's planes? >_>

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Is that Mobius 1 fight actually true? I have yet to play it because of time issues.

The thought of Mobius 1 coming from no where and firing at my ass makes me piss my pants. I must see this.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I realize this isn't exactly ontopic but after seeing the Wii like sensor in the new PS3 controller I realized something. I posted something like this in the PS3 thread too.

Do you guys think Namco would try using this in Ace Combat 6 if it were to come out for the PS3?

I mean, imagine trying to fly through a tiny tunnel and dodging missiles and planes by twisting the controler around. >_>

How ya doing, buddy?

This is even more offtopic, I know. But I just have to comment on how much seeing these emblems and avatars right after another in this AC thread makes me weep with joy. :'D

Edit: I must be missing things.. there's a stick for Ace Combat? Does it work with all of them? Can you use any PC flight stick or does it have to be made for the game? >.>

It would be wonderful if I could use my PC stick for AC.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I always use to think that was Pixy talking in that first AC Zero trailer. And the war and battle sounds you heard was during one of the last missions in AC4 while Mobius 1 was up fighting. >_>

Actually, didn't a Pixy speak up from the ground in one of the last AC4 missions? Maybe my memory is just faulty..

That reminds me of this WWII MMO game that they had a couple of years back. It was pretty much this except with land battles. I think it died really quickly due to massive bugs and stability issues, though.
Would that game have something to do with the F-22A? :P

I had a Jet game for the PC that was completely centered around the F-22A. Even had an online multiplayer action. Though it wasn't that great since people just spammed nuclear bombs.. but I digress. This game had the black out and red out you get under extreme G-forces, both positive and negative.

Turn your plane up too sharply and the screen fades black as the blood is forced from your head. Turn your plane down too sharply and the screen fades red as the blood is forced up into your head.

Only problem with it was that it wasn't very realistic and more annoying than anything. Especially in a dog fight. Turn up too sharply and the screen goes black and stays there untill you stop. So you could just fly around with no consequences with a black or red screen. >_>

Maybe if they had you faint out and the plane dip, stall, etc.. untill you woke it be more realistic. It would certainly bring more realism to your maneuvers since if you recklessly fly around you'll faint or something.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yeah I know this thread has not been replied to in awile. But I just wanted to comment on something.

I was replaying through AC Zero and when they said chemical laser I remembered something. The United States has been experimenting with chemical lasers for awile, right? I think I even saw a prototype being shown off on some TV documentary. It was able to burn a hole bigger than your head in a piece of metal within seconds.

The beam was huge too. The only problem is they needed a gigantic room full of generators to power it and lots of nasty stuff to get a few seconds of it. The soldiers being interviewed also didnt want to say much about it either..

Could we someday have something along the lines of Excalibur? And isnt there a real tactical laser used by the US military? Only its on some huge ass plane used to shoot down missiles..

Jam it back in, in the dark.
