So does anyone know what place in time this game takes place in the AC world? Or maybe even a hint at what the story could be.

Dammit, I was thinking that maybe it would be in one of the areas in the image below. Maybe not Anea because it's all snow up there.. But I dont think any of those areas have been used yet. If anyone knows for sure I would like to know.
 I watched the interview and I just cannot believe the game does not take place in the same universe. I will be surprised if it really is a new world but for now I refuse to believe it. The wifi multiplayer thing still sounds kick ass though. There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yeah it's a screencap I took while playing. But it's not widescreen. I'm playing the game through DScaler. If it looks any different then that's why.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Wait a minute. I was browsing the official AC site for AC: X and on the AC: X web page they had a map of the current AC world. I thought it took place in another world? Now it seems it takes place in the same one?
The two countries are below Osea. See ->  I mean, I don't really care whether it does or not anymore. But now I'm a little confused.. Could someone atleast confirm it for this retarded fool? ;( I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I really would of liked to try AC3 before they stripped it down before judging it. But since I dont understand Japanese it's pretty pointless. It sounded like a good game, right up there with the other AC games. But the english version is complete shit.
But you are right. We gotta have our current or old planes. Since it takes place in 2020 they'll still be there, thankfully. ;D I was speaking idiomatically.

I wish it was out now. It would of been fun to play a little Ace Combat while at the Miramar Airshow in San Diego today. While watching alot of the jets perform I frequently thought of trying the manuevers in-game. Since alot of the things they were pulling off were tactics used in real dog fighting.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
