Judging by what you've said, I'm gonna assume that you're running an AMD and that you haven't screwed with overclocking.

Have you tried running memtest86+?

The symptoms seem like the RAM's timings or the CPU's clock speed or Vcore have been changed. Maybe double-check those settings, and have them set to their defaults or "Auto" settings.
