I have a hard time being optimistic about this. CG and stuntmen can make up for Ford's age, but I'm more worried about the producers. As long as Spielburg is the one directing, and they don't let Lucas fuck around with it too much, it might turn out okay. But then again, guns into walkie-talkies. I'm going to have to hear it from other people that the script is good, because I'm not taking George Lucas' word for it.

My thoughts exactly. I have hope since Spielberg is directing, but anything can happen with George Lucas these days. The current Lucas is light-years away from his 1981-counterpart. I have horrible visions of this being filmed entirely in front of green scenes, or a hidden cameo from Jar Jar Binks... *shudder*
On the flip side... even though
The Last Crusade had such a perfect ending to the series, I will be delighted if this new one turns out to be really good. I'm looking forward to a new John Williams score, at least.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
