This definitely looks like one that could be worth checking out, but then again the XBLA has been full of fail (or straight up mediocre stuff) for quite a while now so I won't necessarily hold my breath. Fingers crossed though.

I played the demo and found it to be rather mediocre. I think your raging nostalgia hard-on for that game blinded you to the fact that it was actually a pretty average effort. It's been a while since anything great has landed on XBLA besides SSFIITHDR (insert Skills rage here about that one).

And I'm hopeful for this, I'm just not going to get too excited before I get a chance to play it for myself.

Some good, bad or just plain news, depending on how you want to look at it: seems OutRun Online Arcade is going to be an XBLA exclusive in NA.

It wouldn't, I'm with you that having it on more platforms is always the best option, but then some people seem to have a hard-on for console exclusivity.

I agree, it doesn't make a lot of sense, especially if you've done the PS3 version of the game as well. The only thing I can think is that Microsoft have raided the coffers again to secure exclusivity with money.
