Standby mode
Last night I went to bed (wow!) and when I just now turned on the screen I encountered a screensaver. So far so good.
However, when I moved my mouse, I was greeted by the 'select your user' screen. I clicked on myself and then saw my wallpaper, and a second later my desktop. The thing is, I don't seem to have anything selected that could cause this. No standby-mode is enabled, energy savings is off etc. etc. What could cause this? I want to get rid of this, since I found out both Bitcomet and FlashFXP stopped doing their thing and none of the downloads got finished. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
How would you then explain the fact my programs were still running?
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Alright thanks. Disabled that 'On resume, display welcome screen'. I'll check tonight if it works.

The thing Merv suggested fixed the problem, thanks.
