Happiness is...

The only thing happiness distracts me from is starting jukeboxes with my fist and spreading the plethora of STDs I have accumulated over the years. SRSLY Fonzie is the man.

That said, my father is fond of saying, "Happiness is having more good days than bad." I don't necessarily agree with that, but he's right. Why work towards anything but happiness? What's the point of that? The way I see it, happiness isn't the distraction, everything else is.

It depends on what your happiness is derived from. If you are happy because you are married to a wonderful person, then that happiness is generally real. If you are doing drugs to escape the reality of the fact that you have nothing else going for you, then it is just a distraction.

Not all happiness has the same weight to it.

I'd argue that's not happiness at all, because even the person hopped up knows it's manufactured and fake.
