[Multiplatform] Transformers: War for Cybertron - You Rock Like Stan Bush

For all Transformers fans, the game is out.
Gametrailers gave it 7.7, but based on the trailers and review, it sure looks more like 8.8.

I'm planning to buy this, but does anybody know if Activison have a similar history like Capcom for launching similar games months after the first game is released?
Capcom pulled this for Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV. I don't like pay more money for a similar game.
I love Capcom games, but I hate their marketing strategy for milking our pockets.
