Taking The Law Into Your Own Hands

So today when I was on my way home from work using the subway train, I sat close to two teenagers. Before the end station and my stop, one of them suddenly pulled out a lighter and tried to burn the edge of the wall.

He managed to burn a little and then I yelled at him not to do vandalism. He said he wasn't doing vandalism. Out of nowhere I said that it's your tax money that's going to be used to repair that.

I could have pulled out my police ID, but then he just sat there. Even when the train stopped, he just sat the quite. Don't know why...then I just left.
