Except Killer7 Travis was killed in the 1970's in the Killer7 world, and at that point I don't think they quite had the technology that Heroes has. Plus they look completely different.

Man, now you guys have my hopes up that one of the later Smith syndicates will be in the game. Too bad it almost definitely won't happen. Although I wouldn't be too surprised to see an unrelated enemy with Multifoliate Personae Phenomena.

Heroes Now No More Heroes, and much more revealed in the newest issue of Famitsu.

Quote:
No More Heroes takes place in the city of Santa Destroy, which is designed to look like a big city in the Western United States. You're free to explore the town to your liking, taking on missions large and small to collect money and purchase new weapons, although the game's storyline progresses only when you take on big killing jobs from the UAA. Your day begins in your motel room, where you change your clothes and get ready for a day out on the town. You can walk around town if you like, or you can speed around on your futuristic Schpeltiger motor bike.
Ugh. I had been really anticipating this game when I thought it might be like Killer7 with Wii controls. Now that it sounds like a GTA clone, I'm not nearly as hyped for it. I won't pass judgment until I play it, of course, but this doesn't bode well.

On the other hand, I really like the way the story background unfolds:

Quote:
In No More Heroes, you play as Travis Touchdown, a geek who wins a Beam Katana (a weapon that resembles a Light Saber) through an online auction and uses the weapon to start a new career as a professional killer.
I can't help but think of:
Too bad you apparently can't play as Helter Skelter, though. =/

How ya doing, buddy?

I don't know, even with Suda, being beheaded kinda makes it difficult for someone to be in a story later except as a ghost. It'd be interesting, though, if No More Heroes has as much a supernatural side as Killer7 did.

If Killer7, Eternal Darkness, Red Steel, and all the Resident Evil's for GC couldn't do that, I hardly see how this can. =/

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
