I have BB and I like it. But then again, I never played the GC or Xbox versions. I practically worshipped PSOv1 and v2 on DC, and I always wanted to play Ep2 but didn't have an Xbox or a GC ethernet adapter, so BB was my chance to try it out. I'll agree that there are a few too many "hardcore" players. It's hard to find someone to level up with because they all do the same quest over and over to lvl up faster, and the ppl over lvl 90 won't give you the time of day because they're too busy rare-hunting. You can join teams (this game's equivalent of guilds), and it's not as bad that way, you can meet nice people, but you still have the same problem of finding someone to play with, unless you're over lvl 90.

I'm lvl 70, but I'm thinking of quitting. Sometimes I have a sudden urge to play it so I do, but often I go months without playing it again. I kinda want to try World Of Warcraft, so I may cancel my PSO subscription. But then again, once PSU comes out, I'll be cancelling my WoW subscription.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

PSU? You mean PSO, right? PSU isn't even out yet.

I play PSO on the official servers because....well, the private servers just suck ass. It's full people who either can't speak english, or people you WISH wouldn't speak english (total assholes in other words). I made a character on Schthack's private server, entered the game, and when I died one of the guys stole my handgun and money, then left and everyone was laughing at me. I left the game, and joined another called "normal lvling" and thought that sounded promising....but it was just a guy duping items for people. I waited 10 minutes hoping they would get done but it just turned into a begging contest. "LOL CAN U MAKE ME A HEAVENS PUNISHER PLZ KTHX". I joined another room, same exact thing. So I gave up and got PSO:BB. At least there's less assholes on PSO:BB, and pretty much no hacking (except for the few people who have the balls to do it under Sonic Team's nose).

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Nope, hackers get banned. If someone has reason to believe someone is hacking and has the logs to prove it, you can send it to one of the mods on the PSOBB forums and they turn it into ST to get them banned. Sometimes it takes awhile, but that's how the game stays clean. Hacking has been kept to a minimum. There's still people running around with dupes, but all the major hackers are gone.

Also, there won't be any private servers for PSU for awhile, Sega will shut them down. That's why there aren't any private servers for PSO:BB yet, because Sega is still fully supporting the game, more so than the console versions. So I'd say we'd have to wait a good 3 or 4 years till we see any private servers popping up for PSU, unless you mean private, as in between friends.
