iFUTURELIST - April Fool Song is amazing. It's so off-the-wall, makes no sense, and is hilarious on a number of levels, I love it. The ending is way neat too and acts as a great, cooling contrast; I'm glad it was left on!

marble / TOMOSUKE - The Caged Bird is, eh, less my cup of tea. I really don't like the vocals and the electronic backing is annoying after a while.

I enjoy the quasi-Mariachi elements in PERSONA3 Original Soundtrack - Changing Seasons, but that's about it. The rest feels overwhelmingly mundane and there isn't enough intrigue or intricacy in the vocals or development to sustain my interest.

Aww some of the melodies in The Pink Panther's Passport to Peril Original Soundtrack - Mummification are so cool and exude a nice motown, jazzy atmosphere. The sax work is infectious and the song on the whole is wonderfully entertaining. A+ would listen to again

The Sakura Taisen Complete Sound Box is fantastic, and despite it being a while since I've listened to any of it, I think Sakura Taisen Complete Sound Box - Continuation of the Dream is a good choice to nominate. It's generic, but it's melodious and cheesy with a great broadway musical sound to it. 1:45 (the chorus) is a crazy amount of fun and nicely demonstrates the vigour of the vocal performance(s).

I absolutely loved Shikkoku no Sharnoth Preorder Bonus Original Soundtrack - DORCHADAS -Sharnoth OP theme- when I first heard it, but sadly it doesn't hold the same lustre for me any more. The highlight is definitely the chorus and the superb accordion lead-up to it, however the rest of the track can't match it and ends up sounding sub-par in comparison rather than complementary (the awkward transition to the second loop makes this hugely apparent). I can't praise that chorus enough, though; and the final note is wonderful. "Tystrya" is the better Blueberry&Yogurt OP though, it's much better rounded.

Tongari Boushi to Mahou no 365 Nichi Original Soundtrack - 365 Days of Pointy Hats and Magic has a number of fantastic melodies all neatly held together by a smart structure and some flawlessly tuneful & varied vocals. It's one of the sweetest non-chipmunk songs I've heard (save 2:09 (?)) and has an air of sophistication and elegance to balance things out. Special mention to 3:30 Masanori Adachi is a frighteningly absurd genius.

You Don't Know Jack 4: The Ride (Game Rip) - The Boy From Chichen Itza is cool, if way too understated. Some more development of the guitar sections would make this a winner, but as it stands it's a monotonous novelty song with the lyrics being the only saving grace. I qualify this scathing comment by noting the melody is strong and will likely stay with me~

jap bitch can't POINT out what's wrong with her singing

2 points: Tongari Boushi to Mahou no 365 Nichi Original Soundtrack - 365 Days of Pointy Hats and Magic
2 points: iFUTURELIST - April Fool Song
1 point: The Pink Panther's Passport to Peril Original Soundtrack - Mummification
1 point: Sakura Taisen Complete Sound Box - Continuation of the Dream
5th: Shikkoku no Sharnoth Preorder Bonus Original Soundtrack - DORCHADAS -Sharnoth OP theme-
6th: You Don't Know Jack 4: The Ride (Game Rip) - The Boy From Chichen Itza
7th: PERSONA3 Original Soundtrack - Changing Seasons
8th: marble / TOMOSUKE - The Caged Bird

Well colour me a pleasant shade of surprised. Nice placings there (so close!), except I agree, where was all the Mummification love.

Going by the comments, had this been a lyrics week Chichen Itza would have won by about 30 points.

How ya doing, buddy?
