Cute, tropical, guitar mix?! Sorry, but 3D Lemmings (PSX Red Book Audio) - LEMGO 1 is just odd and doesn't have any distinct or memorable elements. It's like the theme for a sugar-high, you know, the sort of sugar-high that induces psychotic and immature behaviour.

Amen: The Awakening - Memory of the First Touch is definitely not my kind of track. Aimless, moody piano of the fringe of ambience but not quite positioning itself in any known musical territory. Dull.

Aoishiro Original Soundtrack - A Trailblazer Surpasses Death is an arrangement of the vocal theme from the game, and manages to surpass it on a number of levels in my opinion. The smooth introduction provides a fantastic buildup to the guitar melody at 0:58, which is equally smooth and even more engaging, bearing great clarity of sound and melody. MANYO succeeds again~

ChaosField Sound Track - back in to the machine -phase 5- is, for the first few minutes, decent electronica. But nothing evolves; nothing is added to keep my interest. As such my overall feeling towards this track is not too positive.

Red Zone (Genesis Game Rip) - Night Mission is some very average in-your-face chiptunage. The infectious drive and beats are there, but on the whole it doesn't engage me.

Yesss, a track with some melody and direction! Silver Surfer (Game Rip) - Level Theme 2 is fun from start to finish, and while not blowing me away, shows off a few good melodies and rhythms to help push it to the finish line. Good stuff! (Absolutely love the introduction, by the way (first 16 seconds))

Super Contra 7 (Game Rip) - Stage 1 sounds...well, it sounds really messy and incoherent. The random notes don't harmonise or create a nice pace or sense of affability. Sorry nom, but I think this track just raped my ears.

The War of Genesis III PART1 + PART2 Original Sound Track - Glorious Morning is, as I expected, good stuff from our Korean friends. I haven't heard this soundtrack in full yet, but from what I've heard it sounds great. This isn't one is one of the weaker ones I've heard, but it's still elegant, simple and conveys a nice atmosphere. Pleasant~

Well this is arguably the worst week of SotW I've ever participated in. I might be being a bit too harsh, who knows, but honestly I only truly enjoyed two tracks this week, one of which being my nom!
