beatmania HIROSHI WATANABE beat indication - DEEP CLEAR EYES was ultra smooth and slick. All of the little instrumental touches work, and the piece progresses with nice fluidity and elegance. A wonderfully chilling piece of music; I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

Well this DJMax Portable Legacy - Light House song was just plain fun. There wasn't really a strong melody that stuck to me, but everything else is bubbly, infectious and enthusiastic. The numerous sound effects work really well with the synthlead, as well. Yup, very entertaining!

eXceed 2nd -VAMPIRE REX- (Game Rip) - Welcome to Vahalla had me mildly interesting for the first couple of minutes (it was sort of that "in one ear out the other" situation), but then 1:49 happened and really got me hooked. From there until the end I appreciated the overall funkiness much more. <3

Combo breaker~ Yeah, I didn't enjoy Namco Game Sound Express VOL.16 Attack of the Zolgear - Exia Metropolis too much. Sounded a bit too tiny and repetitive to my ears. The lack of a strong melody also hurt this one. Yeah, I don't think I'll be keeping this one.

Yup, sounds like soundTeMP! I've been meaning to check out the fantasy MMORPG music scene, and this Secret of the Solstice (Game Rip) - the spirit of the jotunnheim track just gives me more reason to do so. Gentle, emotional and uplifting in one, this track is a nice, laid back listen. Doesn't wow me (probably because there wasn't a good climax like I was expecting), but it's still great, especially for a 2 minute tune.

Shining Theme Music Shiro SAGISU Collection - Inheritors of the Light was another one of those fleeting tracks. It was nice, upbeat and engaging throughout (I remember some cool trumpets~) but once it ended I was left fairly empty and "uhh what"-like. A nice piece of music (if memory serves), but nothing truly stuck to me.

Holy cow~! This is some really kickin' music, huh? Yeah, this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV - Turtles in Time (SNES Game Rip) - Sewer Surfin' is a great little tune. Funky, catchy, bouncy--and it's all complimented by an awesome melody. I like this one lots!

Kouhei Tanaka's the man. The Granstream Saga Original Sound Track - To Those Who Challenge Fate (Ending A) has some pretty sweet orchestrations, that's for sure, and the elegant violin really gives the piece a strong voice. The backing strings are also particularly great. Stirring, captivating and appropriately dramatic; just what an ending track should sound like.

man, that POINT you're holding looks pretty cool and rounded~

Very cool week, a six-point-spread was the only way to go about it. Only a couple I could do without, the rest have earned a nice spot on my hard drive~~

How ya doing, buddy?

Yup, very good result. Would have liked to have seen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles snatch a position, but it's still good~
