Sounds like a Sony/Columbia disc you have there, I would suggest downloading and installing AnyDVD. Set Decrypter like this once AnyDVD is installed.

Quote:
unticked "Remove Macrovision Protection" in the General tab;
unticked "Check for Structure Srotection" in the General tab;
unticked all marks except "Create MDS file" in the ISO Read Mode tab;
selected "None" as "CSS Cracking Method" in the CSS tab;
unticked "Detect Mastering Errors" in the CSS tab (actually it should be deselected by default);
selected "ElbyCDIO - Elaborate Bytes" as "Interface" in the I/O tab

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It's probably your drive that needs some cleaning or the disc itself. What disc was it by the way, I'll be more than happy to report any problems with the current build of AnyDVD to the creator of the program.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

There are some CD/DVD cleaners out there you spray on the disc and wipe with a lint-free cloth which usually comes packaged together.
I was really hoping for the name of the disc, specific region as well. :doh:
