Wink

I'm glad I held off purchasing a DS, a release date around the Revolution would be nice. I do wonder what the prices are for the current DS systems available.

Cool

Anything over Level 2 is overkill. I set my HD DLP at low lamp mode because the brightness level is pretty darn strong and after playing Smash Bros. Melee, you'll be seeing stars and blasts all night...even when the set is off.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Interesting point, of course I believe this only applies depending whether you are in or outdoors. Remembers riding the subway as a kid with people lugging there huge boom boxes.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Question

Let me see if I understand this clearly, the Nintendo DS is completely region free. So say I were to import the JPN version of the Nintendo DS Lite, it'll work without a problem?

Appreciate the replies fellas. I guess I'll hold off purchasing the NDS Lite being that most online retailers list the item for nothing less than $199. If anyone knows of a respectable site which has it for less, I would appreciate the info. This was the best listing I could find...

Is there any idea as to when the other flavors of the DS Lite will be available in U.S. shores? I purchased the New Super Mario Bros. just yesterday and finished it later that afternoon, my current DS is currently destined to be a hand me down and just wondering if I should hold off the June 11th date. :eyebrow:

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

You know for those who still want to get thier hands on a DS Lite before June 11th, search the Sears website for the DS Lite. They have in-store pick up for selected Sears locations and you'll be able to get yours the same day. As for me, being that I overslept...I just can't bring myself to drive to NJ right now for a DS Lite.

So just out of curiosity, anyone plan on heading down to Nintendo World?
I'll probably be upstairs making a fool out of myself playing Mario DDR.

Yeah, sounds reasonable. They should exchange it without question, it's clearly a defect.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Glad I'm not the only one, the surround sound seems to be a tad better on the DS Lite by comparison.

By the way, any good place to purchase a decent DS Lite carrying case? The cleaning cloth is a definite as the the DS Lite tends to be quite sensitive to prints. Certainly glad I didn't wait for the navy blue or black models...prints galore.
