Talking

Hmmm, I can understand that after having completed the game but to say that after having played it for the first time...surely this couldn't be if a few million gamers forked over a few bucks for it. :eyebrow:
The game is meant to be played on a WS CRT, notice I say CRT because it won't appear letterboxed in anyway being that WS CRTs usually come in at about 34". Sony Wegas anyway. The proper surround sound setup is necessary as well, Capcom packed a punch into the game's audio department. As for comparisons between the two, well visually there is a difference. Sony fanboys swearing there was no visual difference between the GC and PS2 version, but you can't believe what you hear all the time. But I suppose PS2 gamers can put up with just about anything, surely they must be the absolute most patient people on the planet, heck they've been dealing with L...O...A...D...times since day one.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Here is an ingame image of sorts from the Japanese RE4/PS2 website. Head to the creatures section and select the one at the bottom of the list. Some well put trailers as well, see for yourself.

There are more in the game, bosses and variations of the Ganados which are all over the game time and time again. Most of the time you'll find yourself overwhelmed by the hordes of enemies coming at you. It's a blast the first time around.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I just posted that image to give Spatula an idea of what can be done in the game. So in a way you are right, that section was omitted from the game but partially. Once you pass through the sewers after chatting with Salazar and making your way pass those huge blades, you come across a mini cutscene of Los Illuminados chanting, morir es vivir which I find quite hilarious and catchy. Toss a flash grenade and jump down, while they are blinded momentarily make your way to the exit where the typewriter is and the door will shut closed. Whip out that Rocket Launcher and have a blast.

Well after completing the game more than 8X, you're really have to get it out of your system before locking it away for months. I do hope the PC version that will be out soon has all the extras and more that the GC version didn't get.

Once you shoot thier limbs off and see them hopping like frogs that'll all go away. RE4 is just a tense game which actually isn't scary but don't keep your guard down. RE5 picks up where RE4 left off and the trailer looks quite promising if it's any indication of what to except from the undead.
