Bumping this thread for Great Justice.
While Kasimasi isn't my favorite series this season, it's certainly likable. Unrushed pacing, horticulture and lesbian love triangles remind me of Marimite in a way, which is good. It also has a certain cuteness and charm all its own.
At the same time, though, I don't like how the pacing seems TOO unrushed at times; that could just be me, though. Also, too many of the characters have very annoying traits; Hazumu is an airheaded crybaby, Tomari is overly bitchy most of the time and Yasuna is as indecisive as all getout, for example. NAMIKO is hilarious, which offsets her own airheadedness. And the science seems to confirm that boys and girls are different species entirely. Ayuki and the alien awesome, though.
This series clearly isn't for everyone, but if you're into slow pacing, horticulture, teenage lesbian ANGST! and crazy science fiction stuff, it's worth a watch.
