Just finished processing all of these. They aren't posted on PSOW yet since the whole project's not finished, but I felt I'd share anyways. Someone else is handling the females (a few are posted here so far), and I'll be getting sent the casts next... But for now, filling your screen full of dudes:

These are all the new ones available so far. My favorite is the SPF armor set, particularly the 4th one across the top. If you want to see the new color combinations for the old costumes as well, the files span from http://synbios.net/games/PSU/AOI/01.jpg through http://synbios.net/games/PSU/AOI/31.jpg

There's nowhere I can't reach.

God I feel so alone on the 360 servers, none of you play it. >:/
Uh, what?

I'm a bit surprized that its hard to find parties on the 360. Don't they have like 5 stars?
7 and 1/2 stars as of late. Used to be 12 and 1/2, but Halo 3 took some players away. They're slowly starting to filter back in. The biggest problem with PSU, much like lots of online RPGs, is the level spread. Most of the people that play the game joined towards the beginning, and most are focused on getting S rank weapons and so they tend to ignore leveling alts, and so it's difficult to find people to play with sometimes, for either platform really.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Just throwing it out there that if you want someone to play with on 360, to message me. I never seek out other folks myself since I'm kind of weird that way, but I'm always up for playing with others unless I'm already in a party or something. Otherwise you'll see me soloing.

So how exactly does people taking advantage of a harmless glitch to get inside a room that's otherwise inaccessible until the event starts tomorrow, qualify as Sega breaking a 4-week-long event? I mean, I know it's the bandwagon cool thing to hate Sega now even though most of the gaming populace that express outrage towards them downloaded their Dreamcast games instead of buying them like a decent individual, but this isn't even a valid reason to badmouth them.

How ya doing, buddy?

Mm'kay.

1. The event doesn't start until tomorrow after maintenance.
2. Phantasy Star Universe is one of the most well written Sega games in a long time, especially considering the unpredictable nature of online gaming in general, and listening to someone chant the usual "HAHA TRUSTING SEGA LOL" over a glitch that doesn't even affect gameplay or anything is pretty stupid. I mean hell, I can think of numerous games with simple graphical glitches and the like.
3. The event doesn't start until tomorrow after maintenance.
4. THE EVENT DOESN'T START UNTIL TOMORROW AFTER MAINTENANCE.
5. THE EVENT DOESN'T START UNTIL TOMORROW AFTER MAINTENANCE.
6. THE EVENT DOESN'T START UNTIL TOMORROW AFTER MAINTENANCE.
7. Refer to 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 again since you're dumb and think a meaningless glitch that has existed since the debut of the game qualifies as breaking an event that doesn't start until tomorrow.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

BLAH BLAH SOMETHING ABOUT COCK BECAUSE I HAVE PENIS ON MY MIND BLAH BLAH
It's not my fault that you are the dumbest person. Just to play on your little quip, it's great that you're not on 360, because that means I won't have to listen to your bitching about Sega over trivial shit, like say... an event that didn't start until today.

Got a Storm Line board last night, and a crapload of XP. Almost have figunner capped finally, and am trying to finish off my remaining PAs before I switch it up to fortetecher. I do mostly solo C runs on 1up, so if 360 players want to get leveled up really quickly, you're welcome to message me and I'll be killing stuff quickly... all you need to do is tag monsters of course. I S rank the mission too, so you'll get a lot of meseta and mission points as well.

Finished an evening of acrotecher. The expansion is fucking awesome. PSU is now about as accessible as PSO was for casual gamers. A Sweet Deathic and a Crimson board dropped in one run of Rozenom City.

I seriously love acrotecher. I don't care that I don't do a lot of damage, but I am awesome at support and can do some melee. Enemies now flinch from all melee attacks, one of the numerous changes to the game mechanics. I need to synth myself a light 8* whip so I can throw down some sleep level 2 on enemies. Whips are really weak, but their utility is incredible. You can stun-lock the hell out of a group of smaller enemies while your fighters wreak havoc.

Universes 1-3 were packed to the brim, with 1 star on multiple other universes as well. Apparently the expansion has brought in a lot of people onto the 360, and I'm really OK with that. I hope the same happens for PC/PS2, as this expansion is definitely something the game desperately needed.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well, PSU won't help in regards to graphics since like FFXI, its roots are on PS2. Everything else though is addressed due to the expansion. The economy is kind of whacky right now, mostly because there is now an excellent search feature that allows for sorting, unlike the crap we had before. But you're able to get weaponry of any rank for dirt cheap now, if that says anything. Meseta drops and the like are considerably better now.

In a nutshell, PSU is now the game it should have been at launch. I love it to death.

Edit: Also, the 360 servers are fairly populated. The expansion brought back a lot of people, and added a fair number of newcomers. There certainly isn't a lack of people to play with. The population now is five to six times the population of the PC/PS2 version, it just really blew up over the last two days.

How ya doing, buddy?

And even though I know my spells will always suck, does TP matter for buffs at all, or just Gi/resta?
TP doesn't affect buffs. The only thing that does affect them is if they're level 1, 11, 21, or 31 (and 41 in the future).

And I have to concur with playing however you want. The game takes a majorly casual approach and everyone's overpowered. Do whatever makes you happy.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I knew history would repeat itself... that's why I left PC/PS2 when I did. For your sakes, I hope the damage done is minimal.

By the way, I doubt locking your room achieves anything other than a false sense of security. It was that way in the past, since the cheater would basically make the client report itself as the owner of the room, which is how they'd be able to access various things and take whatever they wanted. The only way you were able to keep yourself safe was to not have a shop opened. When I put up with crap on those servers, I had a shop, but it was on an alt character that I didn't care about, which left my main character's partner machine safe from being zero bombed.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Honestly I don't fucking care anymore. Game is a waste of money, has a shitty community and the most poorly managed game on the planet. Let em hack. If I could, I would do it too.
I kind of share a similar sentiment, though I still play. It's keeping me entertained until Square Enix ships their next-gen MMO. Going back to FFXI is pretty much out of the question since as improved as the game is with each expansion, they never go back to make things easier for newer players.

With the right equipment and skills, hacking the 360 servers shouldn't be impossible either, just not as common.
There's only ever been one unconfirmed cheating event on PSU360, and the guy was supposedly banned in less than 24 hours with his 360 locked out of Live completely, making him own a $400 paperweight. It's stuff like that, that is the reason why the 360 version of the game remains virtually untouched. Getting caught cheating on PC version of PSU just means you need to pay another $10 for an account, getting caught cheating on the 360 version means you have to go buy a brand new Xbox 360. Hacking a niche online game becomes a lot less interesting.

And really, that's how security works in general... anyone who's truly persistent will break through, it's only a matter of time. The trick is to add enough layers of time-consuming and/or costly annoyances that make the individual either give up, or move on to something more "rewarding" that's quicker and faster to break into. In terms of this game, that's the PC version.

Not me. I quit weeks ago when 360 got exploited. They could have rolled back the servers and then ban exploiters to maintain its status as the only version of PSU that hadn't been fucked up, but they chose business-as-usual instead. Eight years of online Phantasy Star, and not a single version has been handled properly. To top it off, they've been screwing up one patch after another since exploit day, confirming that my decision to unsubscribe when I did was wise.

I'm still mad over the fact that I actually believed Phantasy Star Universe was going to be awesome, and that Sega would give it proper support. Valkyria Chronicles is about the only game from Sega that I give a damn about anymore.

I know for certain that I won't get excited about another online game from Sega.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
