College classes with women

My major lacks attractive women. Next year is my last year of school and I can take 9 credits each semester (yeah, I can do one 18 credit semester, but I'd rather not do another 18 credit semester). Anyway, I want to know what classes are generally filled with women. I know business classes are a good place to look, but I'd rather take something that requires less work. Any non major-restricted Freshman to Senior classes are good... I don't care.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I realize that it sounds pathetic, but who cares? They're going to count as free elective courses for me. I don't even have to take these classes. I only need 18 credits to graduate and I'm going to take 24. Why? Because I want to meet new people and I'm tired of being in classes that are 95% guys.

But yeah, thanks for the Psychology suggestion. That's what people have been telling me to take.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Dance did cross my mind, but I can't dance at all. I know the purpose of a dance class is to learn, but seriously, I'd probably just embarrass. I'm not counting it out though. Psychology will probably be my first choice. Good thing is, I don't need these classes at all so I can sign up for them and drop whichever I don't like. Good stuff, everyone.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

This guy I know is taking a women's studies class and he's the only guy there. The thing is all the girls hate him because it's a feminism class and for his first paper, he wrote about why women shouldn't have equal rights at the work place (they were supposed to write why women should). Haha, I think that'd actually be amusing for a bit, but I wouldn't do it. Anyway, Psychology, Dance, and any of the Phys. Ed. type classes sound good.

Please introduce me to your friend.

Oh, and if you're in Vegas, a lot of the Women's Studies girls are also strippers.
I'm in California.

Anyway, my friend doesn't actually believe what he wrote. He just told me that it'd be hilarious seeing their faces.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Wow, and I thought college was for getting an education and working towards a job...how about taking a class that INTERESTS you?

Anyway, if you're really convinced, I'd take psychoogy, like the others said. I'm studying psychology, and there really is a large female majority.
Who said I'm going to take a class I'm not interested in? Why do you think I'm hesitant to take dance even though it's the one people say will have the most women? Why do you think I don't want to take women's studies? Just because I'm looking for a class with more women than my in-major courses, doesn't mean I'm going to take History of Menstruation just because I think it'll have 500 women in it.

And no, college isn't just about getting an education and working towards a job. How many people go out into the "real world" and don't go into what they studied in college? A whole lot. College is also about meeting new people. I don't see why that's so hard to understand for a couple of you.

And yes, Psychology is at the top of my list since I already took Intro to Psychology and actually liked it. I might take Abnormal Psychology next since that's what my Psych major friend suggested.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

With smaller classes, you really get to know the people there, guys AND girls. I don't know, I'm taking IT classes, and well, the ratio of guys to girls is like 1:1. I guess it depends on which area of the US you're in. I don't know really. It just takes a good opening (not pickup) line to meet a girl, and a decent personality to keep one. If you can't do either of those... sorry to hear that.
I'm in California; no shortage of girls here. I have no trouble speaking with women. My problem is that there are no women to approach in my major. =P Anyway, I really would rather prefer smaller classes where I can get to know everyone. I'm also getting tired of huge lecture halls where the professor has a hard time teaching and people are so distant with oen another because there are 200 others taking the class.

Anyway, right now I'm thinking about Psychology, Italian (I'm 1/2 Italian and would like to learn to speak the language instaed of just understand it), Communication, Political Science, and maybe Dance if I feel that I can actually handle the physical requirements of the class (I have two left feet). Good suggestions from everyone; let me know if you have any other ideas.

I think the U.S. and Canada are about the only countries where you can still take subjects other than your major in your final year - which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing. And personally, I don't think you learn that many life-relevant things in uni. Uni doesn't grow people up, we need to grow ourselves up, in a way.
I actually planned it this way. I purposefully didn't take my free electives early on like most people. My reasoning was that classes will get harder as I go along so I saved the easy free electives until the last year. Also, I worked my butt off the first 3 years, taking more than required so I can have an easy time and enjoy myself next year.

I started to take this course, and someone told me it was almost entirely taught around how the brain works chemically to affect someone's behavior. Soon as I heard that, I went into Sociology.
I'll ask him about it. I'm definitely chemistry-illiterate.

if you can't decide which one class to take, why don't you spend the first week crashing a few of them to see what they're like?
Totally. I was planning on signing up for 2 of them just to gauge how the class is. I'll probably talk to the professors as well.

How ya doing, buddy?

Out of curiosity squib, what is your major? (I'm in computer engineering and yeah, the only girl in any of my classes save for maths. One of my professors thinks it's funny to start the class with "Good morning lady and gentlemen."
Civil Engineering. There are more girls in civil than the other types of engineering, but almost all of them aren't attractive.

Course request has begun. I've decided to add Abnormal Psychology and Elementary Italian. I'm pretty sure I'll like both classes, but I'll probably end up dropping one just to take it easy next semester. Unfortunately for me, our school doesn't offer any actual dance classes; they're all club based. Appreciate everyone's help with this.
