College classes with women

My major lacks attractive women. Next year is my last year of school and I can take 9 credits each semester (yeah, I can do one 18 credit semester, but I'd rather not do another 18 credit semester). Anyway, I want to know what classes are generally filled with women. I know business classes are a good place to look, but I'd rather take something that requires less work. Any non major-restricted Freshman to Senior classes are good... I don't care.

If you're truly desperate enough to base your class schedule around this then you could try some psychology classes. I'm a psych major and every one of my classes has been at minimum 2/3 women. It kind of surprised me at first since I figured they would be fairly balanced, but not by a long shot.

I'd just like to reiterate how pathetic this is, though.

I realize that it sounds pathetic, but who cares? They're going to count as free elective courses for me. I don't even have to take these classes. I only need 18 credits to graduate and I'm going to take 24. Why? Because I want to meet new people and I'm tired of being in classes that are 95% guys.

But yeah, thanks for the Psychology suggestion. That's what people have been telling me to take.

Ballroom dance. I kid you not, ballroom dance is what you are looking for. When I was a senior, I needed a PE type class and picked ballroom dance. Class was full at 40 students. There were 36 females out of 40 students.

I hope you don't mind, but I fixed an egregious error in your post.

The Self Defense Kinese at A&M was, like, 90% female <3 All the dudes are usually the grapple victims.

Or you could take Education classes (for gals getting their MRS degree~).

Linguistics courses.

Not even kidding, I'm pretty certain that at my university, about 95% of all who are majoring in Speech and Hearing are women.

In during cunning linguists joke.

Biology always has a ton of girls. They all want to be doctors or vets or something stupid.

IdleChill Feb 21, 2008 11:02 PM

I feel your pain. The joys of being an engineering major. There are hardly any women in your core classes. College of Engineering FTW. That's what electives are for.

Chaotic Feb 21, 2008 11:18 PM

I'll agree to what russ said. Any dance class will do. Guy to Girl ratio is probably 1 to 5, so your odds are good there.

Personally taking Ballroom and Latin Dance last semester, there weren't many guys in either class. Probably because some of them are still trying to hold on to whatever masculinity they think they have.

Either way, girls love a guy who can dance.

Squib Feb 22, 2008 12:38 AM

Dance did cross my mind, but I can't dance at all. I know the purpose of a dance class is to learn, but seriously, I'd probably just embarrass. I'm not counting it out though. Psychology will probably be my first choice. Good thing is, I don't need these classes at all so I can sign up for them and drop whichever I don't like. Good stuff, everyone.

Um... HELLO?! Motherfucking child development! Quite literally.

What are you trying to do to this poor bastard? The guy wants to get his rocks off, not get them smashed and stomped on.

Dance, psychology, education... basically anything that you figure women in general would find appealing and that guys normally wouldn't bother with, that you could still get into. One of the coolest guys I know was a cheerleader in college. He's awesome, his wife's hot and awesome, it looks like it paid off.

I personally plan on getting into massage therapy, aesthetics, dance, theatre, choir...

Vemp Feb 22, 2008 04:37 AM

I heard cooking classes have girls. And art classes have asians or fat yaoi fans. But I think most girls are in the business/commerce classes, or nursing classes. Pft, I was stuck in the engineering building for 7 years, and I only had 2 or 3 pretty classmates during that time.

Don't feel so bad about it, there's probably gonna be at least one person there who understands it who can help you understand it.

There were a lot of rhythm retarded guys in my class, so don't think you're gonna be the only one thinking you might do bad. Who knows? You might do better than you think.

It's not like we're talking about martial arts or boxing here. It's stuff like removing a gun from someone's hand or escaping from a grip. It isn't dangerous to be the dude (who is typically the playing the bad guy~). They do stuff slowly and all that. If it was a balls to the wall class of suffering for the guys doing it then there'd be lots of liability issues with the class due to injuries.

Hmm, the least work.. I'd cross out psych and speech class but those classes really do have the most women. I suggest creative writing or poetry. It doesn't really require studying or anything, just imagination. Not as much woman as other classes but it fits into your parameter of not doing much work.

The Wise Vivi Feb 22, 2008 10:24 AM

Women Studies is your best bet. Usually has 40 women, and only 2 to 3 men. Out of the 40 women, 20 are hot, 10 or cute, and 10 are butt ugly. Not bad odds, I say.

Who wants to pick up a chick from one of those classes? They're probably hippies and like to think too much.

Or more accurately, lesbians and man hating feminists.

Rollins Feb 22, 2008 12:21 PM

Just take an English class. Always plenty of creative (perhaps slightly dramatic) but still attractive lady types in those classes. Just up to you to identify the nutcases from the well-adjusted peoples.

If you really don't want to do work, just find a class where the book list has popular books. Then you can just Wikipedia/Google up your "opinions" come discussion/paper time, if you don't like the reading.

I, of course, never cheated.
