Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, the masterminds behind Steely Dan.
I don't care how many cool points I'm docked for being into Steely Dan, those guys write the slickest music you'll ever hear in your life. No other band has combined jazz and pop music like they have and been nearly as successful. Dudes took almost twenty years off, came back in 2000, and are just as good now as they were in the 70's. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
