I too have read that the rarest and most expensive game known is Neo-Geo Kizuna Encounter. It seems that there's only 3 or so documented copies in existence, and that prices have gone well over $5,000.
Radiant Silvergun ain't that rare... I had my copy with spine card for less than $200.
The problem is that there's no official price for old games, as it happens for, say, cars. I remember following an auction for a copy of SNES Soul Blazer - it went for $203, now that's a load of cash for that game, I've seen other copies sell for considerably less.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
