That's funny, I posed this same question to myself the other day. I plan on starting Chibi Robo (GC) soon, and as far as I know, there's no rip available. So, I planned on ripping it. The thing is, I'd like to enjoy the game, as it's one I've wanted to play for awhile now, and I seriously doubt I'd be willing to play through it twice. So, I would have to take the time to rip the music on my first play-through. Unfortunately, I didn't see a sound test option, so that eliminates that possibility. This also means I'd have to play using my computer monitor (since I rip via a TV tuner thing hooked up to my computer), rather than the regular TV.
I guess it depends on how much I like the music. If I start the game and find myself really digging the tunes, then I will probably end up ripping as I go. Otherwise, I may just forget the whole thing. Jam it back in, in the dark.
