Honours Degree in Socio-Cultural anthropology, with special attention paid to concepts of Personhood and political approaches. A lot of work with things like sexuality, sub-cultures and tattoing. Currently doing my joint masters-phD. Specific region attention paid to East Asia, as I'm mostly based out of Japan. Some physical work, but mostly limited to digging in the dirt in Polynesia and South America.
Dual major in film production, specializing in Cinematography/Director of Photography and writing. Minors in History (East Asian), and biology (evolutionary, vertebrate). I also have the required credits for theatre, but you can only declare so many majors/minors when you graduate. 5 years, total. I had certain IB courses going in that hooked me up with college credit. Much of a highschool fuck up as I was, I had a few choice bits that let me skip ahead. There's nowhere I can't reach. John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD. |
