I just finished the series up. I loved it. It was one of my favorite shows I’ve seen in a while for sure. I found it to go at nearly perfect pace, and it unfolded beautifully, for the most part. Or, that is until I watched the thirteenth episode, anyway. I almost wish I hadn’t watched the ova at this point. It seemed way to thrown together at the last minute to be enjoyable. It was sort of different animation to it, and the characters almost act like different people, it seems.

It was almost depressing to see this shitty ending, honestly. 6 hours of awesome almost ruined in one episode. I was rooting for Tomari the whole time, sure, but the way they went about the change was just too fucking horrible. They changed the style of almost everything, it seemed, as well. Animation, flow, even the characters seemed to change some. The emotion seen throughout the rest of the series was pretty much gone, the character interactions seemed to change, it just didn’t feel like the same show, honestly. The series would have ended better if they’d simply cut this and that last 30 seconds or so of the 12th episode.
