I've got a Breton custom class myself. Let's see... my skills are Blade, Light Armor, Sneak, Destruction, Acrobatics, and Security. I've done the Dark Brotherhood and am a vampire. It's... a mixed bag. On the one hand, I love the bonuses I get from it, but on the other, now that I've finished the DB, it's hard for me to keep up with my feeding. I also caved and bought the official guide for the game. It's already paid for itself, though: it taught me how to pick a lock EFFECTIVELY. I've gone for about a good 50 locks with ONE pick and a skill ranging from 35-42. <3

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, the game IS quite buggy on PC. ffdshow HATES Oblivion, for one thing. I've also had numerous random crashes, and Oblivion REALLY doesn't like it when it gets alt-tabbed out of (be it by a pop-up window from Gaim's away message interface, or by the screen saver). I also remember one time where I was riding on a horse, and two bandits started chasing me. I got off, and the second I got off, I was kicked out of both the Mage's Guild and the Dark Brotherhood (the two factions I were in at the time).

So yeah, if you have the 360, then go ahead and get it for that. It'll be more stable, and if you can withstand the stuttering from loading times, the game will be much more enjoyable.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yup.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Also, will I be able to become a vampire again in the future?
First off, the sun damage only starts if you don't feed for a day. In other words, keep up the feeding and you won't take damage, although you'll be a weak little pussy compared to your blood-starved self. You can also get a quest for a vampirism cure, but it's rather long-ish. Start it by talking to Vicente in the Dark Brotherhood or one of the priests in the chapels. And yes, you should be able to become a vampire again when you're cured. Personally, I would've preferred if the cure had just been like the corprus cure in Morrowind, where you got all the benefits and none of the weaknesses.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I bought it because I wanted to be able to witness time-specific events for quests. For example, for one quest, I had to wait for this chick to show up and do something. Before, I would've been like "wait one hour... damn. Wait one hour... damn. Wait one hour... damn," over and over again. With the guide, I just looked it up, did some math, and got it over with quickly and easily. =\

Actually, I wanted to buy it to ensure 100% in quests. But the use I mentioned before is actually what I use it for most often. *shrug*

Spoiler:
It's actually one of the tombs. I can't remember the name of it exactly, but at midday a map will appear one one of the sides. It's in the graveyard.

Years? Odd, it seemed to me that they just used the Morrowind engine and beefed up the graphics/combat/AI.

Let me put it this way: On my end-game character in Morrowind, one of my favorite things to do when I'm bored is to just go on a fucking rampage and kill everybody in a town. <3

A die is still rolled, IIRC.

The only difference between Morrowind and Oblivion in that respect is not the chance to hit, but the damage done.

Of course, this is going off of memory when I'm not running at 100%, so... I dunno.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why you always, no matter what, take a skill in either Blunt or Blades as a major one. =D
