Quicktime seems to hate my computer

This was a slight annoyance when I tried to view a few movie trailers that I wanted to see from any apple site, but right now, when I can't even watch anything on google video, or any other site that uses the quicktime format, I constantly get a broken filmstrip, and I always have with any computer I have owned.

The thing that I am not quite understanding is that I have the most recent quicktime application that one can have, and yet I continue to get a broken quicktime link no matter what I seem to do. I've twinked with the different settings, and still nothing. Is there anything I"m doing wrong? Or does Quicktime just think my computer sucks cock?

If this isn't the right forum, I'll understand if it's moved >.>

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well I typically don't use firewalls at all, if I am, then I didn't activate it or authorize it to be in place. My computer is custom built with a 1.8 ghz processor, 1.5 gigs of ram, a 6800 Nvidia graphics card and the works.

So all the quicktime streaming vidoes come up as a broken link, tho I believe I can play downloaded movies on quicktime, so I have no clue.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I wouldn't use quicktime for streaming anyway. After you have QTA installed, you could use a player such as VLC to stream/play the files.

Well it just keeps saying that a plug in cannot initialize or some shit like that :/ I guess that's the main problem.

Another extremely noob question would be on how you use other media players to stream video from sites such as google video. I can't even watch Tunak Tun

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
