I do know Capcom did a Breath of fire IV port to the PC. That's worth checking out I guess.
The English version only came out in Europe, but I'd also recommend it if you haven't played the PlayStation version. It's a good all-around RPG with nice music and a somewhat gripping story. The PC port has this weird sprite filter that makes all the characters look kinda blobish no matter what resolution you put it on, though.

Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete also came out for PC, but only in Japan and Korea. There's that language barrier again! Of course, the PlayStation version is just as good, so I wouldn't bother.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Screw you guys, I loved Grandia 2 (even on the PS2 with its maaaaaaaaaaaaasive slowdown in every town).
I liked Grandia II too (got it when it came out on PS2), and I still think it has one of the best soundtracks out there, but it has a lot of compatibility problems on XP and Vista. There's also the infamous Millenia "ZAP!" bug that causes the game crash every time the character casts that particular spell in a scripted battle near the beginning of the game. I'd only recommend it if you could find one of several save files online that start you off right after that fight, and maybe run the game in Windows 98 compatibility.

I haven't played any of them, but I heard Ys: The Oath in Felghana
was pretty good. It came out in Japan back in 2005, and the US version has been on hold for pretty much that long, but RPGFan says it's the best of the series by far.
